Gives guidance on the drafting of specifications and article sheets for magnetic cores, the subject of the specifications being the core properties which may be of importance in the most common applicatons of these cores. This information applies specifically to cores without air-gap or with a small air-gap, for use in pulse transformers where the design is mainly determined by the power transmission requirements and for which the output pulse shape is not of primary importance. The supplement contains 16 definitions relating to coil and core material, and also describes the information which has to be contained in an article sheet.
