This standard gives rules for the treatment of wood by brushing or spraying a wood preservative by hand and rules for respectively the information to be supplied by the customer and the information to be recorded by the executing company. The standard applies to the treatment of wood that cannot be preserved by means of an automatic process. Only a limited degree of protection against biological attack can be obtained by this method.
