This standard gives the requirements and test methods for factory produced unplasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC)sleeves, intended to be cast into circular sewer pipes of concrete or reinforced concrete for the transport of waste water under free fall, with nominal diameters of 250 mm and larger. The standard applies to unplasticized PVC sockets with rubber ring couplings for making vertical connections with standing pipes of unplasticized PVC with nominal outside diameters of 125 and 160 mm.
