Specifies a method for assessing the propensity of textile floorcoverings to soiling using an artificial soiling compound. The test is applicable for use in testing unused textile floor coverings of all types. This test method is applicable for evaluating initial soiling. The scope of this test method can be extended to assess the effects of fibre finishes, cleaning chemicals, and cleaning equipment.
