This International Standard specifies requirements for two types of thermoplastics hoses with textile reinforcement, the design working pressure ranges for which are indicated in table 2. The hoses are suitable for use with petroleum-, water- and synthetic-based hydraulic fluids within a temperature range of -40 ° C to + 100° C. Operating temperatures in excess of + 100 ° C may materially reduce the life of the hose.
