Specifies the safety requirements and preventive measures applicable to fixed ladders with one or two uprights with or without anti-fall devices. This standard is applicable to fixed ladders which are used as accessways to and at machines. The ladder may be: - an integral part of the machine; - fixed to the machine, or - fixed to other structures near the machine.
