scope:

Covers a familiy of single way multi-mode fibre optic connector sets which are classified as type RCC. The connector set featuring a self-locking screw thread coupling mechanism and butting 2.50 mm ferrules. The fiber alignment mechanism is self contained within the plug. There are six options for keyed mechanical orientation for test equipment application. The connector has two independant keying features. One major keyway for optical alignment and for minor keys for coded mating of individual connector sets and a universal plug and socket for test equipment and application.
