This part of ISO/TS contains guidelines that are recommended for the development of terms and definitions for concepts in an open technical dictionary. This part applies to terminology that is standardized as part of the OTD development or maintenance or maintenance activity. It does not apply to terminology that is obtained from consensus organizations, which standardize the terminology prior to submission for inclusion in an OTD.
