Gas turbine fuels - Determination of thermal oxidation stability - Method with the jet fuel thermal oxidation tester (JFTOT)
inactive
| Organization: | NEN |
| Publication Date: | 1 April 1986 |
| Status: | inactive |
| ICS Code (Liquid fuels): | 75.160.20 |
scope:
This International Standard specifies a procedure for rating the tendencies of gas turbine fuels to deposit decomposition products within the fuel system. The test results are indicative of fuel performance during gas turbine operation and can be used to assess the level of deposits that form when liquid fuel contacts a heated surface that is at a specified temperature.
