This standard describes a photometric method to determine iron (II), total dissolved and undissolved iron contents. If desired, consult NEN 6400 "Colorimetry and photometry". This standard applies to any kind of water. It is indicated how to distinguish iron(II), total dissolved and undissolved iron. Iron contents lower than 0.01 mg/l cannot be determined with sufficient accuracy.
