Gives a method for the detection. A polished copper strip is immersed to 1 h at a temperature of 40 degrees centigrade in 100 ml of water-saturated sample contained in a cylinder a suitable working pressure. At the end of this period, the copper strip is removed and rated as one of four classifications of the table by comparison with a copper corrosion standard plaque.
