This standard applies to sacks made of polyethylene film with a net filling weight up to 2.000 g for packing and transporting foodstuffs and to polyethylene film sacks with a net filling weight up to 1000 g suplied as empty sacks, together with foodstuffs packed in sacks, for distribution of small quantitities. The packaging surrounding filled sacks is not covered by this standard.
