Describes a method of test which can be used to determine the AGELFI filtrability temperature of automotive diesel fuels. The method described is applicable to distillate fuels, including those containing flow-improving or other additives, intended for use in automotive diesel engines and may be used to estimate the lowest temperature at which a fuel will give trouble-free operation in a diesel-engined vehicle.
