The standards in this part apply to magnetically-operated, full-voltage vacuum-break, non-combination controllers rated 1500 volts for both motor and non-motor loads. The motor-rated controllers are full-voltage for use with squirrel-cage and wound-rotor induction motors. The non-motor loads may be single or three-phase transformer, capacitor, heating or lighting loads.
