This standard describes a method to determine the halogen content derived from organohalogen compounds extractable with petroleum ether in waste water samples (EOX), X being the halogens chlorine, bromine and iodine. The standard is meant to be applied to the determination of the EOX content in waste water with a CL content greater than 0.1 mg/l.
