scope:
Deals with warming plates, warming trays and similar appliances intended for keeping food or vessels warm, their rated voltage being more than 250 V, for household purposes or nor not intended for normal household use but nevertheless being a source of danger to the public, such as appliances intended to be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms. The standard is to be used in conjunction with the latest edition of IEC 335-1 and its amendments. Gives additions, modifications and replacements to this standard for the specific application only.
