This standard specifies four methods for the determination of the tear properties of thermoplastic and elastomeric sheets for waterproofing: Method A: For thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomeric sheets using a trapezoidal test specimen. Method B: For homogeneous thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomeric sheets, based on ISO 34-1 using an angle test piece with nick. Method C: For homogeneous elastomeric sheets, based on ISO 34-1 using an angle test piece without nick. Method D: For elastomeric sheets with an inner layer or with a backing of more than 80g/m, based on ISO 34-1 using a trouser test piece.
