scope:
Specifies the requirements for factory made wood fibre products, with or without facings or coatings and with or without integral reinforcement, which are used for the thermal insulation of buildings. The products are manufactured in the form of rolls, felts, slabs or boards. The standard also covers multilayered boards and slabs and composite insulation boards and slabs. The standard describes products characteristics and includes procedures for testing, marking and labelling. Products covered by this standard are also used in prefabricated insulating systems and composite panels.
