This document is applicable to all the types of deaerators installed in power plants and used to heat and deaerate the main condensate to be supplied to the steam producing system. The deaerator/direct contact exchanger may be or not incorporated in the storage tank, and may belong to following types: - spray-type - spray-tray-type; - spray-tray and reboiler type - tray type - spray and reboiler type - etc.
