scope:
This standard contains definitions and test methods to determine the mechanical and physical properties of simple stony building materials, suitable to erect brickwork with, by means of glues and mortars. The standard applies to brick, calcium silicate and concrete in accordance with NEN 2489, NEN 3836 and NEN 7029 respectively, which can be used to build inner and outer walls, chimneys, basements, foundations, etc.
