This standard of best practices specifies requirements for a security, preparedness and continuity (SPC) management system to anable an organization to develop and implement a policy, objectives and programms taking into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes and information about significant hazards and threats that might impact it , and its stakeholders, critical assets (physical, intangible, environmental and human). It applies to risks and/or their impacts that the organization identifies as those it can control and those which it can influence or reduce their impact.
