This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the eradicant action of a wood preservative against larvae of Hylotrupes bajulus (Linnaeus). This method is applicable to: -either organic water-insoluble formulations, as supplied or as prepared in the laboratory by dilution of concentrates, or - water-soluble materials, for example salts. An ageing procedure cannot be used in conjuction with this method.
