This technical report describes two methods for measuring the polarization crosstalk of polarization-maintaining (PM) optical fibre: the power ration method (Method A) and the in-line method (Method B). Polarization crosstalk occurs when there is imperfection in the isolation of two polarizations in a polarization maintaining fibre.
