This International Standard specifies the requirements for permanently mounted fixed single jib cranes powered by electric or hydraulic systems, or reciprocating internal combustion (RIC) engines. Jib cranes are capable of hoisting, lowering, level luffing or slewing general cargo. All functions may be performed separately or simultaneously, as agreed between the manufacturer and purchaser.
