NEN-EN-IEC 61300-3-31

Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components - Basic test and measurement procedures - Part 3-31: Examinations and measurements - Coupled power ratio measurement for fibre optic sources

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 2003
Status: active
Page Count: 30
ICS Code (Fibre optic interconnecting devices): 33.180.20
scope:

Provides the method to measure the coupled power ratio (CPR) coefficient. The CPR coefficient may be measured at both 850 mm and 1300 mm wavelengths. CPR measurements are used to characterise optical sources and to standardize the launch conditions for measurements of attenuation on multimode fibres and inseration loss according to IEC 61300-3-4.
