This standard describes a method for the determination of the freezing point of milk with a thermistor cyroscope, which should yield the same results as the reference method described in NEN 3462. This standard applies to checking whether water has been added to raw milk or heated milk which has been completely skimmed, semi-skimmed or not skimmed at all. The milk may not be sour or spoilt otherwise.
