scope:
Applies to insulating matting made of elastomer for use as a floor covering for the electrical protection of workers on a.c. and d.c. installations. Provides five classes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 (differing in electrical characteristics) and one special category C (resistant to extreme low temperature). Informative annexes E to G give guidelines for the selection of the class of blankets in relation to nominal voltage of a system, acceptance tests, and in-service recommendations.
