scope:
This standard specifies methods for the measurement, determination and declaration of the noise emission from hand-held non-electric power tools. It also prescribes the loading and working conditions during which the following are made: a) the measurement, under specified load conditions, of the emission sound pressure level at the work station b) the determination of the noise emission, under specified load conditions, expressed as the sound power level.
