Specifies the characteristics of plain washers, large series, of product grade C, with hardness class 100 HV and with nominal sizes (nominal thread diameter) from 3 mm up to and including 36 mm. Washers according to this International Standard are intended to be used in cases when soft material pieces are to be clamped or large clearance holes in the work piece are used. However, in the latter case, the suitability of the washer thickness should be checked.
