This code of practice contains explanatory comments on the use of NEN 6567 to determine spores of sulphite reducing clostridia in water by means of membrane filtration. The method described in NEN 6567 has been developed on the basis of methodology studies in which samples of surface water have been used in the preparation of drinking water. It therefore applies to both the examination of drinking water and surface water.
