NEN-EN-ISO 5349-1

Mechanical vibration - Measurement and evaluation of human exposure to hand-transmitted vibration - Part 1: General guidelines

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 September 2001
Status: active
Page Count: 38
ICS Code (Vibration and shock with respect to human beings): 13.160
ICS Code (Safety of machinery): 13.110
scope:

Specifies general methods for measuring and reporting hand-transmitted vibration exposure in three orthogonal axes. It defines a frequency weighting and band-limiting filters to allow uniform comparison of measurements. The values obtained may be used to predict adverse effects of hand-transmitted vibration over the frequeny range covered by the octave bands from 8 Hz to 1000 Hz.
