This harmonised document specifies limiting temperature requirements, and associated methods of test, relating to the front surfaces of domestic cooking appliances burning gas, referred to in the body of the text as 'appliances'. It also specifies requirements relating to the instructions for use of these appliances. The limiting temperature requirements only relate to those surfaces on the front of appliances which can be touched accidentally. They do not apply to surfaces that are intended to be touched when the appliances are in use. The content of this present document will be produced in full in the European Standard EN 30 when it next undergoes revision.
