This European Standard specifies the classifications, requirements and test methods for non-coated unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) profiles with light coloured surfaces intended to be used for the fabrication of windows and doors. It is applicable to PVC-U profiles with the colorimetric co-ordinates measured on the visible surfaces, as follows: - L* ≥ 82 (chromaticity co-ordinate Y ≥ 60), - -2,5 ≤ a* ≤ 5, - -5 ≤ b* ≤ 15.
