scope:

Contains the requirements for safety of the design and installation of machines used in sorting and/or glazing of fine clay tiles. The standard also deals with equipment for preparation and/or finish of tiles in connection with sorting and/or glazing, e.g. brushes and stackers. This standard deals with all significant hazards pertinent to sorting and glazing machinery, when they are used as intended and under he conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards.
