scope:

Specifies the main constructional and performance characteristics of independent gas-fired convection heating appliances. It also specifies the appropriate tests for evaluating these characteristics. Applies to independent convection heating appliances burning gas: - that incorporate a natural draught burner and a permanent pilot; - that are connected directly or by means of an adapter to an open flue or to a device to evacuate the products of combustion (open flued appliances, balanced flue appliances, Se-duct appliances); and - that have a nominal output not exceeding 25 kW. This document does not include electrical requirements since electrical safety is ensured by compliance with directive 73/23/EEG.
