NTA 8115 specifies requirements and test methods for marketed and delivered hydrous ethanol to be used as an extender for automotive petrol fuel according to EN 228 at levels above 10 % (V/V). The document describes properties, limits and test methods to be applied in order to determine its quality. The NTA is intended as specification for trading amongst fuel suppliers and fuelling station owner, but also to present motor guarantees to car park owners or, ain the long run, to consumers.
