scope:

Describes how to measure low frequency electromagnetic emissions from Visual Display Units (VDU's), regardless of the display technology or power source. It shall be regarded as a performance standard and is not dealing with EMC or safety matters. The object is to provide a harmonized, uniform and reproducible measuring and reporting method in order to facilitate accurate comparison between VDU's of different types and between measurements made at different competent measurement laboratories. Only the technical aspects of emission measurements are considered.
