This standard describes the installation of observation wells in previously bored holes or by pushing them directly into the soil, as well as the installation of several observation wells in an observation post and the determination with various means of the hydraulic heads of groundwater in the saturated zone, at one or more predeterminated depths. The standard applies to hydrological examination in the saturated zone of the soil.
