This European Standard specifies the method for the determination of the moisture condition value of mixtures. The moisture condition value test determines the suitability of a mixture for placing, compaction and trafficking by construction equipment. The European Standard is applicable to the testing of laboratory prepared or production mixtures and to mixtures susceptible to crushing during compaction. The tests are appropriate to that part of the mixture up to a maximum particle size of 20 mm.
