This European Standard describes an automatic technique to simulate the tendency of "contaminated" coton fibres to stick to working surfaces of textile machines (e.g. card clothing, drafting rollers, crush rolls, etc.). Test specimens can be raw cotton fibre (fibre sampled e.g. from a bale), or openend fibre, slivers, etc.
