AIM
The aim of this agreement is to provide a document (Guide Specification) which establishes the minimum quality at the time of initial procurement for greases for use in service operations by NATO Forces. It specifies a limited number of multipurpose greases, which are intended for tri-service applications, i.e. Sea, Land and Air. Careful selection of these greases to meet specific applications would allow nations and forces to rationalise their grease inventories.
