NEN-EN 12485

Chemicals used for treatment of water intended for human consumption - Calcium carbonate, high-calcium lime and half-burnt dolomite - Test methods

inactive
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 September 1996
Status: inactive
Page Count: 74
ICS Code (Chemicals for purification of water): 71.100.80
scope:

Describes the methods used of the chemical analyses of calcium carbonate, high-calcium lime and half-burnt dolomite used to treat water for human consumption. Of the reference methods described, the atomic spectroscopy methods are preferred to the conventional methods. If methods other than those described are used, it shall be demonstrated that the results are equivalent to those of the reference methods. In the event of disputes, the reference methods shall take precedence.
