This standard describes two methods to determine the density of paints, varnishes and related products, at a temperature agreed to between the parties involved. The pycnometer method (method A) is applicable to fluid paints and varnishes. The method with immersed spherical body (method) B is applicable to fluid paints and varnishes with more or less a Newton Structure.
