scope:

This standard gives the names of the parts, the design measurements, the tolerances, the mechanical properties and research methods of prefab sewer manholes and sewer manhole pipes of reinforced and non-reinforced concrete. The standard applies to sewers of various materials, as long as they are not pressure pipes. It applies to all parts of sewer manholes and sewer manhole pipes. It applies to circular manholes with an inner diameter of at least 800 mm. and to non-circular manholes with a least one inner length or width equal to or larger than 800 mm. The standard is meant to be used for the inspection of lots and in the external inspection of the internal quality control of the manufacturer with respect to awardiung a quality mark.
