Specifies requirements for ball valves in thermoplastic materials for use in industrial piping systems, irrespective of field of application or fluid to be conveyed. Is applicable to hand or power operated ball valves up to DN 300 and PN 25. It specifies requirements for type of ball valves and their connection to the piping system, the standardized DN and the allowable pressure together with derating factors for operation at temperatures in the range -40°C to 140°C.
