This part of the standard specifies ancillary equipment to be used in combination with plastics pipes made of glass-reinforced thermosetting polyester resin intended to be used in the field on non-pressure drainage and sewerage. It applies to ancillary equipment intended to be used for the conveyance of surface water or sewage outside buildings at temperatures up to 45°C. This part of the standard applies to the following types of ancillary equipment: - manholes; - access fittings; - - flanges; - washouts; - mechanical couplings; - traps. This standard does not cover any access equipment such as ladders, step irons etc.
