This Recommendation applies to all mains operated nuclear electronics instruments used in research laboratories, radiation detectors excepted. It relates to analogue voltage ranges and logic levels of the signals at the inputs and outputs of instruments. It does not relate to analogue voltage ranges and logic levels that are entirely within a selfcontained unit and that are not routed externally. To establish standard voltage ranges and maximum permissible output voltages for analogue signals,and output impendances for analogue circuits, and to establish digital logic levels for binary signals.
