scope:
This standard describes a method for the determination of the moisture content of products obtained from vegetables and fruit. The method described is applicable to moisture contents of 10% or less. The method does not yield reliable results ifthe product to be examined contains a lot of certain volatile substances, or if it contains other components, from which water will be separated under the test conditions (e.g. if it contains a lot of fructose).
