scope:
This standard contains regulations for: a. work on, in close proximity of or in the neighbourhood of low-voltage installations; b. the use of electrical equipment and conductors; c. inspection or low-voltage installations. The standard applies to work on and inspection of installations with: a. a nominal a.c. voltage not exceeding 1000 V between phases and 600 V between one of the phases and earth; b. a nominal d.c. voltage not exceeding; 1500 V between phases and 900 V between one of the poles and earth.
