This pre-standard describes a method for the determination of the concentration of inorganic fluorides in workplace atmosphere, using a fluoride selective electrode after active double filter sampling. The pre-standard applies to the determination of the concentration of inorganic fluorides that occur as gaseous compounds or in dust or smoke as particles with an aerodynamic diameter of at least 0.3 µ m in workplace atmosphere and can be used for a concentration range of 0.02 up to and including 12.5 mg/m3 .
